Basic Bodice pattern: starting point. Let’s start the pattern by drafting this rectangle here. The height is your back waist/nape to waist length+ 2 cm. The width is ½ bust circumference + 4 cm of ease. Instead of 4, you can also add just 2 cm of ease to get a more fitted bodice, but it’s easy to modify the pattern afterwards, too.
