PTCS is a certification program for residential heat pumps and duct systems. It is sponsored by the Bonneville Power Administration based on recommendations made by the Regional Technical Forum regarding the best practices for high performing HVAC systems.

Performance Tested Comfort Systems, or PTCS, is a Northwest-regional program for utilities to improve HVAC-system comfort and increase energy savings. PTCS specifications help ensure heat pumps and duct sealing work results in a more comfortable home and more reliable energy.
How do I become a PTCs heat pump contractor?
Note: To be a fully certified PTCS heat pump contractor, you must complete a remote classroom and field heat pump training. Schedule the field portion of the heat pump training when you register for the webinar or after completing the webinar. Tuesday, August 24th and Wednesday, August 25th from 7:30 a.m. โ 1:30 p.m.
