2022 MotoGP pre-season test and team presentation schedule

MotoGP is already preparing for a new course. With the entry of 2022, the teams of the highest category of the World Cup begin to finalize the details for the first tests of the preseason, which will begin at the end of this month of January. While the pilots return from vacation and speed up their training, the brands prepare and confirm their presentations, being the new Gresini Racing the fastest in the class to show off its new mounts. The rest, except for the new Yamaha satellite team, will be presented throughout the month of February, with special attention to the new Valentino Rossi team, the Mooney VR46 Racing Team, which will debut with two Ducati in 2022.

MotoGP test calendar

In addition to team presentations, the MotoGP preseason will be marked by tests, where the teams will test the bikes they will use during the year. In addition, in this 2022, they will be of vital importance after the freezing of last season, facing the consequences left by the pandemic. They will also test a new circuit, in Indonesia, which replaces the usual Qatar tests. These are the dates and places planned for these tests:

• February 5 and 6, at the Sepang Circuit (Malaysia)
• February 11 to 13, at the Mandalika Circuit (Indonesia)
