4 NBA players who could be traded in the face of a bad start

The 2021-22 NBA season can bring several striking player changes in the middle of the season, but it will depend on the sporting results that their organizations may have.

Here are four players who, due to their contract and current situation, could be changed by their teams in an eventual bad start to the campaign.

Towns has been very patient with the series of changes to the Timberwolves project, but he is an eye-catcher for any team for his ability in the paint. Last season he averaged 24.8 points and 10.6 rebounds per game.

Siakam is one of the most consistent players in the last two seasons with the Toronto Raptors. However, their presence on the team could be at risk. He’s coming off averaging 21.4 points and 7.2 rebounds per game and could be on the radar for other franchises.

Lillard is recognized as one of the most dominant scoring point guards in the NBA, thanks to his superlative shooting range. Despite his commitment to the Blazers, in an eventual slow start to the season, he would be their best trade chip. He averaged 28.8 points and 7.5 assists per game.

Beal has been one of the NBA’s top scorers for the past two seasons. However, the Wizards haven’t been able to get great results. Last season he averaged 31.3 points per game, finishing second in the scoring championship race.
