Cuerva and CHC Energía organize this weekend the III Cuerva Golf Openan initiative born in 2018 and in which it is expected that around 120 amateur players Andalusia and the rest of Spain.
In this edition that will take place in the Club Santa Clara de OturaIn addition to the Open itself, there will be a children’s tournament, a golf baptism for new fans, as well as other sports and leisure activities.
The Open Cuerva de Golf, which had to be postponed in 2020 and 2021 as a result of the pandemic, is part of the strategy of Corporate Social Responsibility of Cuerva and CHC Energy. With it, the energy companies want to publicize and promote amateur sports as a healthy practice and, in the case of golf, respect and care for the environment. In this third edition of his tournament calculate the carbon footprint of the event, verified together with SGS, a company specialized in inspection, verification, testing, and certification.
With this verification, the carbon emissions caused by the productive operations of the tournament are evaluated to establish actions in the next editions that reduce polluting emissions and thus collaborate with the preservation of the environment, optimize environmental efficiency and position ourselves as active agents in action against climate change.
In addition, as happened in 2019, the III Open Cuerva de Golf will have a supportive characteras it will be held in ASPACE supportthe Granada association for the care of people with cerebral palsy.
