In this article we will be looking at the muscle transformation of the Los Angeles Lakers star, Anthony Davis.
The head coach of Los Angels lakers, Frank Vogel, expect a great 2021-22 season of Anthony Davis.
Anthony Davis Not only should he be healthier and more motivated after a frustrating 2020-21 campaign, but the superstar is, well, bigger.
Vogel got on Spectrum’s “LakeShow” podcast on Wednesday and shed some light on the apparent physical transformation of Anthony Davis this summer. Clearly, Davis’ new look has Vogel feeling particularly optimistic about the upcoming season.
Here the data:
“He put a lot of work on his body this offseason, a lot of work,” Vogel said. “We had a moment maybe two weeks ago where he had been training at home and we had a lot of conversations about the concerns we have with our team… And (AD) comes to train, the first time we see him for a while, and his body it looked imposing. And we all looked at each other like, “We’re going to be really good this year. Just looking at that guy over there, we’re going to be really good this year. ‘
People on Lakers Twitter have taken notice of Davis’ newly imposing physique in recent weeks.

Davis it was limited to 36 games in 2020-21, never reaching 100 percent after an exceptionally short offseason, which the Lakers cited as an obstacle throughout the season and Vogel repeated Wednesday. Davis dealt with a lot of bumps and bruises early on, leading to relatively inefficient basketball, before forcing his Achilles on Feb. 14 (at the time, he argued that the team mismanaged their star).
Davis later suffered groin and knee injuries in the team’s first-round loss to the Phoenix Suns. After the fact, Davis said that all leg ailments were interconnected.
In particular, the Lakers’ first major move of a busy offseason was parting ways with head coach Nina Hsieh. Earlier this month, the team announced the hiring of Roger Sancho as head coach and promoted Ed Streit to head strength and conditioning coach.
