The Panamanian athlete, who will pass ‘Bye’ the first round, will face the winner between Kimberly Gittens (Barbados) and Agata Kaczmarska (Poland).
The former world champion and Olympic athlete, Atheyna Bylon, will debut this Saturday, May 14, at the World Olympic Boxing Championships held in Istanbul, Turkey, with the record participation of 310 athletes from 73 national federations.

After making the draw and assembling the keys of all the categories, Bylon ‘Bye’ passed the first round of the 75-kilogram category and will face this Saturday, May 14, in the round of 16, the winner between Kimberly Gittens, from Barbados and Agata Kaczmarska, from Poland, who will fight tomorrow Wednesday on the first date of the weight.
Bylon is expected to sharpen her preparation during these days and keep the weight down to be ready for her first bout of the competition.

Bylon, 33, already has experience participating in boxing world championships and already knows what it means to reach the highest place when in 2014 he won the title in the 69-kilogram category.
