Marco Bezzecchi will continue in 2023 with the Mooney VR46 team, owned by Valentino Rossi. The Italian rider has been associated with the structure of El Doctor since 2020, and this year they made their MotoGP debut together. The man from Rimini has achieved a second place in Assen, and leads the race to be ‘rookie’ of the year: he is 14th in the championship with 68 points, well ahead of his pursuer Fabio Di Giannantonio, who has 23.

Bezzecchi himself has made some statements through the team’s social networks: “I am very happy to confirm and announce that the agreement I signed last year was for two years, so in 2023 I will continue to compete with the Mooney VR46 on the Ducati. . I am very proud to wear and represent the colors of the VR46 family, Valentino and his academy, who have always supported me alongside the team and personal sponsors”.

The Italian rider has already spent two seasons with the Rossi team in Moto2, and despite it being the first season in the premier class for both of them, Bezzecchi is happy: “The technical and mechanical group that we have created over the years is completely new, beginner in all aspects, with technicians coming from Moto2 and others with new roles, but we are completely satisfied with what we have achieved so far. We continue to focus on this 2022 season, trying to finish this first year in MotoGP with the best result, before starting to face the next season.”
