HOUSTON (AP) — Devin Booker scored 36 points, including 15 in the third quarter, and the NBA-leading Phoenix Suns beat the Houston Rockets 129-112 on Wednesday for their third win.

Mikal Bridges added 26 points on a night when Booker shot 15 of 24 from the field and reached 30 points for the second time in the last three games.

The star scored 15 points in the third period.

Deandre Ayton added 23 points and 11 rebounds, while Torrey Craig — who started in place of the injured Jae Crowder — had 21 points on eight-for-as many shots.

Craig also had 14 rebounds.

Phoenix also played without star point guard Chris Paul and his primary backup Cameron Johnson. But he improved to 56-14 and dropped to 27-6, the best in the NBA.

In contrast, the Rockets are the worst team in the league, at 17-52.
