Boxing Alpha Cup comes to an end

With great success the Cup Boxing Alpha 2021 organized by the Club Alpha, event that exceeded expectations and brought together about 120 fighters from 19 different teams and gyms who participated throughout two heats and a grand final that took place in the basketball gym of the Alpha 2.

Just after those three days in which there were powerful duels, Team Huitzil of San Diego Cuachayotla, Cholula led by the former representative of Puebla in the World Boxing League, Orlando Huitzil, won the Alpha Cup, in a intense closing of the competition endorsed by the Puebla Olympic Boxing Association.

The championships that marked the victory of Team Huitzil to be proclaimed winner of the Alpha Cup were with: Jael Saidi Ramos, David Dolores, Luis Gael Mejía, Jorge Roldán, Josué Tlapaltotoli, Jeancarlos Coyotécatl and Alan Cólex.

In second place, there was an unprecedented tie between the teams from the Red Corner Boxing School and the Central Boxing of Tehuacán; both squads added six titles and throughout the day they were fighting in each category.

Great emotions were experienced in each of the days

The Red Corner Boxing School added the first places with Roberto Cóyotl, Juan Pablo Márquez, Osbel de Luna, Álvaro Michaca, Ricardo Baruch and José Luis González, while Central Boxing de Tehuacán won the championships through Ulises Martínez, Alexander Valladares, Joel Sánchez, José Cristóbal Rodríguez, Alexander Alvarado and Dara Paola Gil.

In third place, Gym Titanium finished with five first places through Gloria López Martínez, Eduardo Reyes Honorato, Zadquiel Muñoz Fernández, José Luis Jiménez Martínez and Edgar Gael Muñoz Fernández.

The director of the Municipal Sports Institute, Antonio Iriarte, delivered the Alpha Boxing Cup that proclaimed Team Hutizil champion and was accompanied at the award ceremony by the president of the Poblana Association of Olympic-Type Boxing, Antonio Rico Hernández.
