Mike Tyson doesn’t give Anthony Joshua many options in his rematch against Oleksandr Usyk this coming Saturday. The British boxer will fight the Ukrainian for the second time in a bid to regain the WBA, IBF and WBO world heavyweight titles he lost to him the year before. The Ukrainian boxer won on that occasion by unanimous decision (117-112, 116-112 and 115-113).
“He’s going to have a really hard time beating him,” Tyson said. “It’s going to be hard to beat Usyk because he’s fast and he got past Joshua with his jab. Joshua has to learn to deal with his jab. That’s the only thing he couldn’t handle, he couldn’t handle his jab and his movement,” Tyson added.
“He’s a powerful puncher, but he’s not that precise. You have to be precise against an ace guy. Because he moves around a lot. You’re going to have to wear him down, he’s not going to outbox this guy, he’s not going to , it’s just going to hit him. Joshua needs to pick up the pace a little bit, just a little bit, not much. he has a lot of potential“, finished.
