Siete Spanish wrestlers will compete from December 3 in Bangkok, the Thai capital, in the IFMA Muay Thai World Championships.
The Spanish expedition leaves with high hopes of medals and some ventures to think of several golds, something quite complicated due to the quality of the rivals that are going to be found. In fact, many local athletes will make it downright difficult fighting against their countrymen.
Some of those selected are already in Thailand training for the event, such as Nenesh parikh and Mikel Fernndez.
In the history of the championships, only one gold has been achieved to date, by the Valencian Eva Naranjo in 2010. In the last championships held in 2019, Madrid Nenesh parikh achieved a bronze in 75 kg, the only metal for the Spanish team.
