MEXICO CITY, August 9 (EL UNIVERSAL).- After 21 years as a professional boxer and at the age of 42, Jackie “La Princesa Azteca” Nava announced that next October she will do her last fight as a professional, to dedicate herself to life in home with her husband and two daughters.

The best fighter that Mexico has given, bantamweight and super bantamweight world champion on different occasions, leaves a record of 21 world title fights, with 18 wins, two losses and one draw.

Jackie assured that at the moment there are other situations that require more time, including the development of her daughters, and that she has several projects on the horizon, such as offering conferences and she has not even ruled out the possibility of becoming a boxing reporter.

“I love boxing, I love training, I love getting in the ring, and we’re leaving at a good level.”
