Boxing: Sweden’s Wallin wants to fight Fury again for the WBC title

Otto Wallin continues to work tirelessly to try and win the WBC heavyweight title. In 2019, the Swede suffered the only loss in his career (23 – 1) against Tyson Fury. From then on, Wallin put together a winning streak to once again be a contender for the world title. Swedish wants to face Anthony Joshua or Oleksandr Usyk.

According to Swedish promoter Dmitry Salita, Wallin is “totally ready” to cross gloves again against Tyson Fury. The future of English is up in the air, but it seems that it will become clear at the end of May. The WBC wants to know if the two-time world champion has plans for the future or if he wants to end his professional career. The 33-year-old boxer said he will retire from the sport after successfully defending his world title against Dillian Whyte last month.

“If Fury decides to give up the title, Wallin is ready to take his chance,” said Salita. To Swedish tooe would like to fight Anthony Joshua in the near future. His next fight will be against the American Rydell Booker in Detroit later this month.
