LAfter categorically defeating Dillian Whyte a few weeks ago at Wembley and announcing his retirement as a professional boxer, the British Tyson Fury signaled that he does not have in mind to relinquish the title as world heavyweight champion.

“I’m not quitting because, wait a minute, I’m 12 months old. I have done two consecutive mandatory fights against Deontay Wilder and Whyte. I have no one. I’ll just keep it as long as possible. I have already surpassed Wladimir Klitschko as the third longest reigning lineal champion in boxing history. I’ll keep it in my back pocket as long as I want.” he explained in an interview with Good Morning Britain.

Furthermore, the Gypsy King added that he would only return to the ring if he was handed a juicy bag: “Even that 200 million report didn’t even tempt me. That would be about half of what I would like to get out of retirement. Probably I’d like half a billion to come out of retirement. I tell you the truth, if you want me to fight again, it will cost them a lot of money.”
