Brendan schaub has expressed support for Jake paul against critics who have been accusing the YouTube megastar of dodging real boxers. The retired MMA fighter and UFC veteran noted that Paul is still in the early stages of his boxing career.

On that note, ‘Big Brown’ added that compared to most other boxers, Jake Paul faces much tougher competition early in his career. In an edition of the podcast King and the sting , Brendan Schaub stated:

“Here’s the thing though, all the hate towards Jake Paul and the things I get; I do not get it. Everybody says, ‘Oh, fight a real boxer,’ like this. Go to anyone; name a fighter you like: Tyson Fury, Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Julio Chavez Senior, Junior, whoever they want, ‘Canelo’ [Alvarez]His first four fights, they were fighting cans. This is how it should be. Jake Paul’s first four fights are much tougher than anything your favorite fighter has ever fought in. You have to give the boy credit at some point.

Brendan Schaub also addressed the ‘no knockout clause’ rumors about Jake Paul’s fights, hinting that Woodley and others weren’t allowed to knock out Paul. ‘Big Brown’ emphasized that there was no such clause in ‘T-Wood’s contract.

Additionally, the former UFC heavyweight competitor also closed claims that Tyron Woodley sank in his KO loss to Jake Paul.

Legendary boxing coach Teddy Atlas talks about Jake Paul wondering himself as the next Muhammad Ali

Veteran combat sports analyst and widely revered boxing coach Teddy Atlas responded to comments from Jake Paul and his older brother Logan about ‘The Troubled Boy’.

In an edition of Logan’s Impaulsive podcast, following Jake’s sixth-round knockout victory over Tyron Woodley earlier this month, the brothers proclaimed Jake the next Muhammad Ali.

Teddy Atlas addressed this and explained that it was simply a public relations move on the part of the Paul brothers. He noted that when comparing Jake Paul to Muhammad Ali, they are likely to get strong opinions from the audience, who will then want to see how Jake is KOed. Atlas said:

“Yelling like that and saying crazy things about Muhammad Ali and all those things, it will make you think, listen, watch and buy a ticket because you hate them.”
