The development of the Volvo Golf Championship by Seguros del Estado continues, and this Friday the second day of the aforementioned golf tournament was played, with the leading role of a Colombian golfer.
Specifically, it is Camilo Aguado, who had an outstanding performance by signing a card of five strokes under par.
In this way, Aguado finished in first place in the general classification, after the end of the day.
But this is not the only golfer who is representing our country in this event, as other golfers like Óscar Hernández also had action.
“The course was complicated, but fortunately I had a good first round and I held on in the second,” Hernandez commented in a dialogue with Caracol Sports.
It should be remembered that this tournament, which is part of the PGA Tour Latin America, will end on June 5 and will award a prize pool of 175,000 dollars (a little more than 660 million Colombian pesos).
At the time, José Garrido, Manager of Competitions and Business Affairs for the Latin American PGA Tour, spoke about the importance of this tournament and said: “As a former professional athlete and now an organizer, I can assure you that the sport (golf) lives for this type of events that become the stage indicated for the new generations”.
