While the sale of tickets for the boxing evening, this Friday at the Regatas Corrientes club, is going at a good pace, the organizers made changes to the initial billboard, since for various reasons two fights that were already scheduled could not take place.

Faced with the fall of the fights between Leo Méndez and Maximiliano Cabrera, and that of Francisco Gopar against Ricardo Chávez, the organization confirmed the cross between Pablo “El Goyano” Parodi from Corrientes and Fernando Bo, from Buenos Aires.

Meanwhile, the fights between Marcos Aumada and Pablo Díaz in the heavyweight category (eight rounds) and that of Maximiliano Alegre, from Corrientes, against the credit of Misiones, Fernando Cardozo, in the super welterweight category (scheduled for six rounds) remain firm. .

The presentation of the boxers Mariquena Salega and Catalina Álvarez, both from the province of Buenos Aires, was also scheduled to face each other in the lightweight category, but they will not be part of the match either, and instead the presentation of Catalina Álvarez and Salomé was broadcast. Exit in the super flyweight category.

The weigh-in will take place this Thursday and the evening will have six fights. The show will be hosted by former boxer Fabio “La Mole” Moli and Vanessa Salcedo. Those interested in purchasing tickets should go to the municipal box located in Plaza Vera.

“We are very happy that the promoters look to our province to hold events of these characteristics. It is important for the dissemination of our sport that these evenings take place, because it encourages the practice of boxing in our city and in the province, something that had a great development and growth in recent years,” said the president of the Corrientes Boxing Federation, Cristian Martínez.

“We see that a club such as Regatas is working hard to return to being the boxing scene in our city, and it is very positive -also- to have representatives of our province in the ring, which will awaken a more attractive for the local public that will come to Miter Park,” he added.

The billboard is very attractive, with very good competitors that arouse interest in the public that loves this sport in the region, so the presence of people from neighboring provinces is expected.

The boxing evening was declared of municipal interest, and would begin at approximately 10 p.m.
