As of this resolution, the previous one was null and void, by which Tapia had been put in charge of the LPF for a period of 90 days, with the mandate to call elections within that period.

This happened after the removal of Tinelli, an electoral act was established that in principle was going to have three candidates, Cristian Malaspina (president of Argentinos Juniors), Mario Leito (Atlético Tucumán) and Sergio Rapisarda (Vélez Sarsfield), but that finally resulted in a single list with the first of those named at the head, something that was not approved by the Justice.

The resolution adopted by the Civil Court number 99 extended the term in which the AFA will have to guarantee the operation of the Professional League until the third month of 2024 and in this way Tapia will bring together the comptroller of all Argentine soccer, ending with that « double command» so questioned by different areas of the national leadership.

The decision by Judge Camilo Almeida Pons indicated that “the term established by the Superior in the resolution of April 6, 2022 is extended until the expiration of the mandate of the currently valid authorities of the Board of Directors of the Argentine Professional Soccer League” .

On April 30, when his license expired, Tinelli had also resigned from the presidency of San Lorenzo, although he had not yet made it official internally at the club.
