Boxer David ‘Pantera’ Zegarra knows that the sport of runny noses will not be eternal, that is why he is tempted by the world of catwalks and assured that when he retires from the ring he will venture into modeling and cinema. To show a button, last Saturday he dressed in a suit and tie to show the latest Fit fashion from the businessman from Gamarrino Ángel Meza, where he made it clear what he will do when he leaves the contact discipline.

Before that happens, the current participant of Esto es bacán has some fights pending for this year. He knows that retirement from sports at a professional level is close, so he seeks to generate more income for his home and the world of fashion is not alien to him, but as a catwalk model.

“I’m liking this fashion thing, that’s why my friend Ángel Meza the carrycot in suits the one who dresses the stars. He invited me to participate in the show at Fashion Week 2022 and there I was up this time in the fashion ring. No, not nervous, because I already have television experience. On the contrary, I felt comfortable, calm and happy because it was going to be a new step in my aspirations”revealed the boxer.

“In the middle of the pandemic I went between Mexico and the United States. I got a bit of an international name, but I returned to my country and again I find myself with this dilemma of supporting sports. I’m still in boxing to this day because I’m ‘Pantera’ Zegarra, but if it hadn’t been like that, they wouldn’t have known me in the sports world. Sports activity in our country is very low. I plan to retire next year. It is time to point out and dedicate yourself to other things, ”he said.

David is clear about what he will do when he leaves boxing, he will look for and advise new talents in that discipline. “The main thing is to support the athlete. They need guidance, hydration, food and more. What I’m thinking about is opening a high-performance school, that’s why I’m thinking about studying topics related to sports to get this school on the right track and start seeing new athletes, new options that don’t have many resources,” he said.
