A total of 180 athletes from four entities in the country competed for their classification to the CONADE National Games in the macro-regional events, which were held simultaneously in the city of León in the disciplines of boxing and karate.

In the Deportiva del Coecillo de Guanajuato, the stands vibrated with emotion with the presence of more than 104 boxers from Hidalgo, State of Mexico, Querétaro and Guanajuato, who competed for a place in the CONADE National Games.
The State of Mexico was represented by 29 boxers and 13 advanced to the national stage, while Guanajuato 7, Hidalgo 5, Querétaro 4. In this way, the Mexicans were champions of the regional stage.
Regarding the results of this macro-region, the coach of the Mexican delegation, Gerardo Mejía, pointed out that the classification of 15 boxers was forecast and the result was described as positive towards the CONADE Nationals, where they promise to fight for the first national place.
