Welcome to Miami! Welcome to F1! After Free Practice 1 played a few hours ago, it’s time for the second practice session from the United States. Charles Leclerc was the fastest in the first 60 minutes, but… Watch out for Mercedes! Russell led the comeback of the silver stars and stayed very close to the Ferrari.
It was a first session of Free with scares. A new and very green track that caused spins, track exits and occasional brushes with the wall. Fernando Alonso He had the occasional runway exit, Carlos Sainz he pricked and spun. With skill, the man from Madrid saved the Ferrari.
For now, Ferrari appears to be the strongest team on a fast track, narrow in some sections and with many little trains that predict a tremendously tense qualifying Saturday.
For the Spaniards, a discreet first session, although with a trick. Carlos’s puncture prevented him from setting time on soft. Even so, with an average of 23 laps he was quite up. Fernando Alonso’s Alpine, out of the TOP-10 for now.
Let’s remember that there are chances of rain for the whole weekend, although not very prominent. 20% for this Friday, 35% for Saturday and 40% for Sunday. We will see if water falls on an already complicated track.
