Tom Brady’s durability is one of the hallmarks of his illustrious career. With Father’s Day as a reference, in AS we present you the father-son duos who have played with and against the legendary Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback during his 22 professional seasons.

The most successful father-son duo is the Winfields. Brady won Super Bowl LV with Antoine Jr. during his time with the Buccaneers. Meanwhile, he faced his father five times while the cornerback was with the Buffalo Bills and twice when he played for the Minnesota Vikings.

The Runyan family has been on Tom Brady’s path to greatness. Jon Sr. was a member of the Philadelphia Eagles who lost Super Bowl XXXIX to the Pats and Jon Jr. was part of the Green Bay Packers who lost in the NFC Championship Game prior to Super Bowl LV.

The McCaffreys are also part of the rivals that TB12 has faced. Ed, the father, was a wide receiver who competed against Brady twice and Christian, the son, has faced him in two different uniforms, with the Pats during his rookie season and with the Bucs in 2020.

Devin Bush Sr. faced Tom Brady in Week 13 of the 2001 season and the safety recorded seven tackles in a Cleveland Browns uniform. For his part, Bush Jr. played against TB12 in his first professional game with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2019 and had 11 tackles.

Mario Edwards Sr. was a cornerback who played for the Cowboys from 2000-2003 and in his final year in Dallas faced Brady in Week 11. His son, Mario Jr., has played for the Raiders, Giants, Saints and Bears and has faced TB12 during his time in Oakland and Chicago.

One reunion that has yet to happen is Brady’s with Terrence Metcalf’s son, wide receiver DK Metcalf. The quarterback faced the father in Week 12 of 2006 when the Bears and Pats played and will face the son in Week 10 of next season, when they meet in Germany.
