SANTO DOMINGO.- Miguel Cotto, a former Puerto Rican boxer who reigned in four different categories, will visit the Dominican Republic this Tuesday.

As part of the agenda that will be exhausted in the country, Cotto will meet with the Minister of Sports, Francisco Camacho, to whom he will present projects that he intends to develop in the Dominican Republic.

Cotto is a professional boxing idol from Puerto Rico and one of the great boxers in the world. He was world champion in the junior welterweight, welterweight, junior middleweight and middleweight categories.

Throughout his 13-year career as a professional boxer, he collected a record 41 wins, 33 of them via knockout, with six losses.

He faced the best of his divisions, including Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Saúl “Canelo” Alvarez.
