Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton are starring in one of the most intense fights of recent years in Formula 1. A fight in which two accidents have already been seen: at Silverstone and at Monza.
A war that everyone talks about and even some like Gerhard Berger, former F1 driver, believe that Verstappen is playing from behind with Valtteri Bottas, Hamilton’s teammate at Mercedes.
“A brainwashing”: this is how Berger defines the conversation between Verstappen and Bottas before the Russian Grand Prix: “Champions do that too.”
“Before each race, Senna went to the drivers on the grid and told them his plans. That always worked,” he recalled in statements to ‘F1 Insider’.
“With all his determination and concentration, Max seems to have his head completely in order. He knows exactly what to do,” he finished.
The difference between Hamilton and Verstappen is only two points after the first and second they signed in Sochi. There are six tests left for the conclusion and anything can happen in one of the most exciting championships in the history of F1.
