Lviv.- Former Ukrainian boxing world champion Vladimir Klitschko turns 46 today in kyiv, where he is with his brother, the capital’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko, to defend his country from the Russian war of aggression.
“Today is March 25. 46 years ago I met this guy and to this day, we are still together, in kyiv. We are together, because together we are strength, and because good always triumphs over evil,” says Vladimir Klitschko in a video on social networks.
For his part, the mayor and also a former world boxing champion replies: “Congratulations, little brother. Mom, thank you for the best gift of my life.”
“Dear friends! Today, someone close and dear to me celebrates his birthday. We share a strong bond even when we are apart,” can be read in the message that accompanies the video and that the mayor of kyiv shares on his Instagram account.
He adds that at this “crucial moment” for Ukraine, both are together in kyiv, “shoulder to shoulder.”
“I feel the support of my brother every day and every second. He recently told me: This is the hardest fight of our lives, the fight for our city and our country. And I have no doubt that we will win! Because good always defeat evil!” he says.
