This Tuesday concluded the holidays for Formula 1 driver George Russell, who decided once again to choose Lanzarote to disconnect while preparing for the continuation of the season.
For several seasons, the British pilot has chosen to rest from the busy sports news at Club La Santa and on this occasion the sports-hotel facility in the municipality of Tinajo was once again his place of rest for 10 days.
In that time, the Mercedes-AMG Petronas team driver has been training, going for a bike ride and even enjoying the summer weather in Lanzarote to go out to sea and take a dip.
George Russell is one of the most promising drivers on the Formula 1 circuit since he entered the Mercedes team’s young driver program at just 18 years old. Since then he has contested a total of 73 grand prix in the last three seasons, also adding the 12 races disputed in this 2022 campaign.
The young British driver, who is currently 24 years old, has been champion of the BRDC Formula 4 in 2014, of the GP3 Series in 2017 and of the FIA Formula 2 Championship in 2018. In the highest category of Formula 1 has obtained five third positions as his best classification, all of them achieved this season, in which he has added a total of 158 points, placing fourth in the general classification.
The pilot, and his teammate Lewis Hamilton, are already facing the next test, the Belgian Grand Prix, at the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit.
