Futbol Emotion is reinforced. The chain of sporting goods stores, founded by former soccer player Javier Sánchez Broto in 2016, has incorporated Juan Luis Pérez Sánchez and Marcos Garzo Tusquets as independent directors of the groupas reported by the company on social networks.

For his part, Juan Luis Pérez began his professional career at Mars, where he served as brand manager and sales promotions coordinator. Later, he became brand manager for the Bacardi alcohol company and returned to Mars, where he served as director of sales for eight years. In 2000, he moved to Adidas, where he was sales director in Spain for three years, until in 2003 he was promoted to sales director throughout the Iberian Peninsula..

Futbol Emotion has recently changed hands, with the departure of the shareholder Meridia and the entry of Grupo Tansley, which includes companies like Guaw, Milbby, Brand Story and Bookish. Last May, after the change in the company’s shareholder group, Futbol Emotion appointed Carlos Sánchez Broto, brother of the founder Javier Sánchez Broto, as the new CEO.

Football Emotion broke its own sales record in 2021 with a year-on-year growth of 55%, up to 33.5 million euros. With this, the company from Zaragoza also managed to exceed the pre-pandemic figures. Specifically, sales rose 15% above those registered in 2019. Currently, the chain has 18 stores in Spain and another two in Portugal, with the flagships of Barcelona and Madrid, which have more than a thousand square meters of surface each.
