MEXICO CITY. The delegation of boxers from Zacatecas obtained good results at the Olympic Festival held at the Mexican Olympic Committee (COM).

Two gold medals were achieved, thanks to the performances of Sanjuana Cruz Calera, in the category Juniors 15-16 years of 66 kilograms, women’s branch; and José Alvarado Calera, in the Juniors 15-16 years category, in the 70 kilograms.

Antonio Martínez Casas, from Calera, won a silver medal in the Juniors 15-16 years category.

The bronze medal went to Jesús Roberto Ortiz, from Jalpa, fighting in the Youth category.

Alan Fabricio, also from Calera, came in fourth place in the Juniors 15-16 category, fighting in 63 kilograms.

Gabriel de Jesús de Calera competed in the Juniors 15-16 years category, weighing 48 kilograms, but lost in the round of 16 against Jalisco.
