GP Miami F1 2022: Carlos Sainz: “Third place is something worthy, but I want more”

Pthat to get another podium and break his losing streak in the last two races, Carlos Sainz Jr. is not satisfied and seeks more for his career within the Formula 1.

“I want more but it’s not bad”

“I’ve been better other times. After the accident on Friday I still had some pain in my neck from the race. I had to manage it and fight with it, especially against a Czech Prez with medium tires. But we managed to keep the podium… It wasn’t easy, it was a tough race with the tires and the heat. The car moves. In the end we have achieved what we want. It’s a worthy third place. I want more but it’s not bad.”

sweet and sour taste

Carlos Sainz spent almost the entire race away from his teammate (Leclerc) and from the race winner, Max Verstappen, who overtook him in the first corner taking advantage of the room in the clean area.

However, Madrid held the position with a Sergio Prez who had medium tires (he hard) and signed a new podium this season for Ferrari.

The next appointment will be at home, in Montmelwhere Ferrari aims to bring updates in the single-seater.
