Houston Rockets started the campaign with a record of one win and 16 losses. Everything indicated, by the horrible feelings of the team beyond the defeats, that the campaign was going to be an absolute disaster complicated to lift. However, it seems that they have been able to do so. The team has stopped thinking exclusively about No. 2 in the draft (a Jalen green which is still very green) and at the moment he is the one with the longest favorable winning streak in the entire league: six consecutive victories after the one they got yesterday against New Orleans Pelicans by 118-108.
Yesterday, without Green due to injury, the Texans again played a very serious game and ended up achieving a comfortable victory and ahead of the Pelicans in the Western classification (7-16 for the Rockets and 7-19 for the New Orleans). Christian Wood and Eric Gordon were the best with 23 points per head. Garrison Mathews finished with 13 points, Daniel Theis contributed 12 and Jae’Sean Tate went up to 11 points. From the bench, rookie Alperen Sengun went up to 10 points. Very good team game in general (24 assists, 42.5% success in triples, almost 50% in field goals).
The Pelicans, meanwhile, have not finished getting up with Zion Williamson yet to debut this season. Brandon Ingran was the best with 40 points (15 of 28 in field goals) and 4 assists. Jonas Valanciunas had 17 points and 10 rebounds. Little more than a team with many problems and looking bad for the near future.

Willy Hernangómez returned to play at a high level in the minutes he had. The Spanish center of the Pelicans finished with 10 points (4 of 7 in field goals) and 14 rebounds in 16 minutes of play.
