Cuban boxer Yordenis Ugás asked his countrymen not to forget the political prisoners and their families, who today suffer the brutal torture of the criminal Castro regime in the largest of the Antilles.
Through a video shared on his social networks, the boxer let it be known that his family is fortunately well, helping each other. However, he revealed that he does not get out of his mind those who go through the opposite, surviving in the face of the harsh blows of a dictatorship that increasingly intensifies misery.
Likewise, the athlete stated that he did not know if he is exactly an “example” for the Cuban population; what he did affirm is that he will always be encouraging his own to fight for change, asking for the freedom of political prisoners, to wish for a better country.
“My family is fine, and I help my family, but I always think of the other person. I don’t know if as an example, but I am always motivating people to fight for change, that we must always ask for freedom for political prisoners; motivating that we Cubans deserve a better country. Our family and our friends deserve a better country.”

In the same order of ideas, Yordenis Ugás that no matter where you are or what status you have, you always have to show concern for your lands.
“No matter where you are, or who you are in life, you always have to worry about your country,” said the boxer.
It is no secret to anyone that Yordenis Ugás is one of the most internationally recognized Cuban athletes, who have most expressed their discontent over the terrible situation in the largest of the Antilles.
Each of his fights is in part dedicated to all those Cubans who suffer day by day on the island, but who, despite everything, continue to fight.
