Said figure is Mike Tyson, who is the youngest heavyweight world champion in history, and his alarming words were said on his “Hotboxing” podcast.
The boxer stated that, when he looks in the mirror and observes the spots on his face, they indicate that the end of his life is very close.
“We are all going to die one day, of course. So when I look in the mirror, I see these little spots on my face and I’m like, ‘Wow! That indicates my due date is approaching,’” she said.
On the other hand, Tyson confessed that there have been times when he has come to feel alone, despite the fact that most of his life is accompanied, since many of the people around him are with him out of interest.
He mentioned that money does not bring happiness nor can it prevent anyone from dying. “I always say that money is a false sense of security,” she said.
“Money means nothing to me. Those who think that money can make them happy, is that they have never had it. You think nothing can happen. That doesn’t mean you won’t get a disease or get hit by a car. Can money insure you when you jump off a bridge?” she added.
How did Mike Tyson’s career start?
Mike Tyson was born in the troubled neighborhood of Brownsville, Brooklyn (United States), on June 30, 1966, he grew up surrounded by delinquency, crimes and murders. He never knew his biological father and grew up going from house to house evicted with his mother and his brothers.
At the age of seven, he left school due to the harassment he suffered as a result of his stutter and the special attention and treatment he gave his little sister, Denise Tyson. From there she went downhill with no brakes. At the age of 10 he was arrested for the first time and a little more than three years later he got the first of his big marks. He was taken into police custody 38 times.
As a result of his turbulent and violent attitude, he was sent to the Tyron School for Boys reformatory and, after a fight with another inmate, he was transferred again to the Elmwood center. There he began to chisel the figure of “Iron Mike”.
Former boxer Bobby Stewart put him in touch with what would become one of the most influential people in Tyson’s life. Renowned trainer Cus D’Amato put him under his tutelage and he became the helm of a drifting warship riddled with insecurities, hang-ups, and a total lack of self-esteem and maturity.
The American technician welcomed him and disciplined him, straightening the course of a criminal who would probably end up dead in any absurd fight.
After years of training, fighting and sacrifice, he reached the elite of world boxing. At the age of 20 years, 4 months and 22 days, boxer Mike Tyson defeated Trevor Berbick in a fight for history.
