A few days ago, in the municipal gym of Pichilemu, an Olympic boxing evening was held with the participation of boxers from the San Fernando Academy and the Mexico Club of Santiago.
On the occasion, six combats were held with the following results:
In the 63 kilos category, Tomás Salvo (CM) outpointed Yordan Pontigo (ASF). In the same series, Benjamín Matus (CM) beat Tomás Tobar (ASF) by points.
Meanwhile, in 58 kilos, Mateo Román (ASF) won his fight by points over Edgar Zúñiga (CM). While, in 56 kilos, Álvaro Rojas (ASF) accounted for Cristofer Ruz (CM).
Likewise, in 65 kilos, Daniel Toledo (ASF) prevailed over Paolo Manzanare (CM).
Finally, Sergio Criao (CM) won the last fight of the night after defeating Sebastián Dickinson.
It should be noted that the general referee of the evening was Pedro Flores Tapia and a good number of people attended as well as authorities from the spa. Among the spectators was Benedicto Villablanca, a former national boxer who was world champion for only a few hours in 1982.
