A few months before the biggest football festival, La Curacao and LG launch their Mundialistos campaign, with the aim of creating experiences to awaken all the excitement of this sport with promotions and activities dedicated to its customers. For this reason, this year they present their new signing, Javier “El Jefecito” Mascherano, who will be visiting the country during October.
As part of this campaign, La Curacao has organized a series of events with the former soccer player and current coach of the Argentina U-20 team, so that its clients can learn about his history, trajectory and game philosophy. “Our Mundialistos campaign seeks to reward the loyalty of our customers and provide unique experiences to Guatemalan families,” said Mario Montenegro, Marketing Manager of La Curacao.

Mascherano stood out as a central midfielder with the teams CA River Plate, SC Corinthians, Liverpool FC and as a central defender at FC Barcelona. With this last club, he won 5 La Liga cups, 5 Copa del Rey, 2 UEFA Champions League and 2 Club World Cups, in addition to having participated in 4 World Cups with the Argentine national team: Germany 2006, South Africa 2010, Brazil 2014 and Russia 2018.
Mascherano Training Camp
One of the first activities will be the “Mascherano Training Camp” soccer clinic where 25 children and adolescents between 10 and 18 years old will have the opportunity to train and play with Mascherano, who will share with them the techniques and tactics that made him a star of the world soccer. On October 18, there will be a conversation in which Javier will share with 400 clients of La Curacao the beginning of his career, his experience at FC Barcelona, his career with the Argentine soccer team and his predictions for Qatar 2022.
