Luchadora from Rosarito wins International Women’s MMA Tournament

Yasmin Jáureguí won in three consecutive fights in a single night

Yasmin Jáuregui, originally from Rosarito, was the winner in the first international women’s mixed martial arts tournament in the 115-pound category.

The event was organized by the company Combate Global and was called “The last standing Latina”.

Each fighter had to beat 3 opponents to win. Yasmín achieved it based on her aggressive technique crowning herself as the definitive winner.

Due to the unanimous decision of the judges, the first match was won against Stephanie “Lil Bovy” Frausto from the United States.

The second victory would be obtained after defeating Criszaida Adames in minute 3:14 by TKO.

The grand final was played against Claire López and there Yasmine defeated her at minute 4:16 of the first round by TKO, leaving undefeated.
