According to the specialized site Boxing Scene, the operation would be carried out at 7:00 am this Sunday.

Fuentes remained immobile in the ring after receiving a strong hook from his opponent, which sent him to the canvas, in the sixth round.

The fight was dominated from the start by Cuellar (19-year-old) over Fuentes, 36, who hadn’t fought since September 2018, when he was defeated by first-round knockout. It is on his resume that he was a two-time world champion.

In the fight they disputed the youth title of bantamweight recognized by the World Boxing Council.

From two rounds ago, the dominance of Cuellar, who put his mark on 20 bouts won, thirteen by knockout, was evident and it was advised that the bout be stopped.
