Through a statement, the prosecutor Stephen Wagstaff explained that Tyson should not face justice because: “Those circumstances include the victim’s behavior in furtherance of the incident, the interaction between Mr. Tyson and the victim, as well as the requests of both the victim like Mr. Tyson that no charges be filed“.
In addition, according to the version of the police authorities, Townsend did not collaborate with the investigation by not wanting to detail the event in depth.
