Not everything to do with mixed martial arts (MMA) happens in the UFC. On the last night of the competition, Bellator, Sergio Pettis left a scary KO for posterity. The company bantamweight champion faced Japan’s Kyoji Horiguchi, former champion belt holder, whom he defeated on the fast track.
Although Horiguchi started the fight better and made it clear that he was superior to Pettis, the North American ended up taking the cat into the water with a completely incontestable rotating punch.

The action took place in the fourth round of a scheduled five-act fight. Horiguchi dodged a kick from Pettis, who took advantage of the spin with which he executed his movement to hit his opponent with his left fist. The Japanese lost consciousness and had to spend the night hospitalized as a precaution.
“I came here and they hit me four rounds. When it happened, I already thought I was losing the fight: ‘I have to do something spectacular.’ That blow came at the right time. I needed to face some difficult opponent and Horiguchi gave it to me. It was difficult to measure his pace, ”Pettis declared after the fight.
