Mick Schumacher set off the alarms at the Monaco GP, after suffering a spectacular accident on lap 26 that left the car. The pilot managed to get out unharmed and forced the presence of a red flag that paused the competition.

At high race pace, having weathered the rain in Monte Carlo, it looked like the emotions would run smoothly. Nevertheless, Haas’s runner was the victim of an incident on the outside curve of the pool.

The car broke after hitting the wall, due to the magnitude of the blow. Several pieces flew to the track, while the face of concern invaded the team. It was immediately decreed at the entrance of the safety car.

After seconds of anguish, Schumacher could be seen leaving by his own feet. This became the second abandonment of the Grand Prix, previously Magnussen had withdrawn due to technical problems.

Despite the flagship car, it was not until lap 30 that the red flag was ordered. This forced the drivers to return to the pit area, until the retaining wall repairs were completed, as well as the cleaning of the track.
