MORELIA, Mich., December 23, 2021.- The prominent Michoacan boxer, Julio Gómez, will begin in 2022 with a preparation tour of Cuba, prior to his integration to the Mexican preselection of Box, where he will work with a view to Paris 2024 , a site that was awarded by winning the gold medal at the Olympic Festival in previous months.

El Negro, as he is known among the sport of fists and gloves, achieved his call after his participation in the Olympic Boxing Festival, held in Guadalajara, where they obtained a total of 7 medals, of which 4 were gold; 2 silver and one bronze.

In the fair, the golden metal was hung at 60 kilograms, and, therefore, he was summoned by the Mexican Boxing Federation (FMB) to the national preselection that will seek his pass to the Central American and Caribbean Games.

From an early age, the Moreliano took the gloves to get into the ring. Starting his sports career in charge of the current president of the Michoacán State Boxing Association (AEBM), Adolfo Santibáñez, at the Guerreros de Morelia boxing gym. Today, those efforts have already yielded results of national preselection.
