Former NBA player Magnet Shumpertwho was champion in 2016 with the Cleveland Cavaliers, was arrested a few days ago at the Forth Worth International Airport in Dallas for drug possession, as revealed a few hours ago.

The arrest took place at 3:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, as Shumpert was about to fly to Los Angeles to see one of his daughters.

Baggage control agents found “a considerable amount of marijuana“in the player’s suitcase, specifically 170 grams.

The former Cavaliers, among other NBA teams, was held in the airport facilities, without knowing what his current legal situation is.

Shumpert, who is 32 years old, played his last game in the NBA in the 2020-2021 academic year as part of the Brooklyn Nets.
