Lto US publication ‘Sports Illustrated’, considered by many to be the Bible of American sports, has released the first 50 names of his top 100 for the season looming in the NBA. A list that always generates controversy both for who is left out and for the positions of some players.
Among the first 50 names that the popular magazine has unveiled, players like JOrdan Clarkson (100th position), Derrick Rose (89), Seth Curry (81), Kemba Walker (69), Klay Thompson (57) or LaMelo Ball, last published name and ranked number 51.
Fifty names among which already stand out notable absences such as those of ‘all star’ players such as John Wall, Victor Oladipo, Blake Griffin, Kevin Love, LaMarcus Aldridge or Al Horford.
Nor is Ricky Rubio, habitual in the last seasons in this list that may not have Spanish players for the first time in the last seasons.
As Sports Illustrated argues its reasons for leaving the list off top scorer of the last Olympic Games: “In a league where the first is to score and full of explosive bases it is difficult to put one so limited offensively in the top 100, even a highly respected one. “
