La National Basketball Association (NBA) has presented the new renovated facilities of the Sebastian Burgos School of Valencia last Friday, July 15, as part of the initiative NBA 75th Live, Learn or Play to create more than 100 new centers NBA Cares Live, Learn or Play during the 2021-2022 season.

Collaborating with Colegio Sebastián Burgos reflects the NBA’s mission to inspire and connect people from around the world through the power of basketball and create a lasting impact in the communities where we operate,” said NBA Spain General Manager Chus Bueno. “Valencia has a rich history of basketball and these renovated spaces will provide the students of Colegio Sebastián Burgos with opportunities to practice sports, have fun and grow as people.”

NBA Cares is the global social responsibility program that builds on the NBA’s mission to address social issues in the US and around the world. Internationally, NBA Cares has created more than 360 places where kids and families can live, learn or play in 40 countries and territories.
