La NFL continues to innovate in terms of improving and perfect in each play. Now the Green Bay Packers are trying out a new technique for their receivers and defenders can practice and catch passes without the need for their quarterbacks.

In a video posted by Matt Schneidman, the Packers are testing a machine that throws footballs to their receivers during practice. It seems not to be very important, but what stands out about this device is that it has the ability to throw same speed, technique and trajectory as a quarterback would.

But, the Packers have gone further and used the so-called Seeker Machine so their defensive ends can intercept the balls if they throw them Kirk Cousins of the Minnesota Vikings

This machine can throw up to 75 miles and do up to 500 pitches per hour, so it could be used throughout practice without wearing down the quarterbacks.

The Seeker was used by some teams during the coronavirus pandemic when group workouts were not allowed and now it is tested during the NFL preseason.
