ORNo year has passed since the Carolina Panthers kicked off the 2021-22 NFL regular season, with a 19-14 win over the New York Jets. A game that saw one of the most spectacular scenes on the grid.

On September 12, 2021 in Charlotte, North Carolina, the presentation of a mixed reality panther, which ‘invaded’ the Bank of America Stadium to ‘devour’ a Jets flag.

The mixed reality show (a mix between virtual reality and augmented reality) was applauded by the thousands of fans. A moment that was remembered by the NFL this Monday.

Mixed reality panther was developed by ‘The Famous Group’, founded in 1998 by Jon Slusser and Greg Harvey. “You don’t need glasses or a mobile app, everything is very visual, but things are not practically there”, Erik Burak, executive producer of the company, told Boardroom at the time.
