The Tampa Bay Buccaneers athlete, Antonio Brown, was suspended for three games for presenting a false certificate of vaccination against the coronavirus to play. This was reported in a statement by the National Football League.
The NFLA together with the NFLPA (National Football League Players Association) announced that the safety and health of their players and staff is their top priority.
“The protocols were developed working with our respective experts to ensure that we are practicing and playing soccer as safely as possible during the ongoing pandemic,” said the governing bodies of American football.
“The NFL and the NFLPA jointly reinforce their commitment and further emphasize the importance of strict adherence to protocols to protect the well-being of all associates,” added the institutions.
In the same way, Mike Edwards and John Franklin III, were the other Tampa Bay Buccaneers players who failed to comply with the COVID-19 protocol who, along with Brown, accepted their fault and waived to appeal this league decision.
