In 1976 the ‘Yes, I want’ was given with Rocío Jurado in Chipiona and since then, we know more than enough how his life was, but… what is known about the great boxer? has grabbed many headlines in recent , but all of them due to controversies that not even he would imagine: his daughter, his marriage to the singer and his subsequent relationship with Raquel Mosquera.

Pedro was one of the best boxers in Spain during the 1960s and early 1970s, also famous for winning the World Boxing Council’s lightweight world title… but his thing was not only the ring, but also the cameras.

In 1968, the boxer starred in the film ‘The Sailor with the Golden Fists’, sharing a cast with Andrés Pajares. A film in which we can see similarities between Pedro’s life and his character, Pedro Montero, which is why many critics have considered this recording as a biography that narrates Carrasco’s time in the Spanish Marine Corps.

A most unknown man who, when he retired from the world of boxing, began working in the Public Relations department of Philip Morris, in addition to setting up an agency and having several active businesses. A man who had a sad end as a result of a heart attack and who left a widow, Raquel Mosquera, his daughter and all his loved ones, devastated.
