The national golf delegation, led by Gilda Hwie and Carlos Gamarra, won gold medals in the individual modality, mixed teams and ladies at the Paraguay 2022 Junior South American Championship.

Camila Zignaigo was crowned in the women’s individual branch after finishing in the last round of 77 with a total score of 314 points, thus staying with the first place in her category. Likewise, she won the gold medal in mixed teams pairing with Mauricio Tello, where they consecrated themselves with 624 strokes (+40).

Finally, the women’s team made up of Zignaigo, Ariana Urrea and Alexa Vegas were also champions in their category with a score of 633 (+49) and, in this way, the Peruvian squad added three gold medals in the South American tournament.
