Aram Yenidjeian from Pilar won the 8th edition of the Pro AM Latin America Golf, which was held in the Dominican Republic.

The 21-year-old Mapuche country player won the contest played under the Stableford modality, which consists of awarding points for each stroke, according to the par of each hole.

The Mapuche player closed with 161 hits and was 6 ahead of Puerto Rican Gilberto Barrionuevo, who was also part of the team champion team, along with his compatriots Edgar Torres, Carlos Pichardo, David Mora and Jesús Rodríguez.

“It was a very fun week, the place is spectacular and playing well here is always a pleasure. Winning this tournament always gives a different boost for what comes in my career”, said Yenidjeian, who just a few months ago jumped into the rented field and has just played the finals of the Dev Series of the PGA Tour Latin America finishing 29th.
